Foundations
Foundations must be constructed to local codes and good construction practices for the specific structure and site conditions. Either bolting the columns to a concrete surface or direct embedment into a foundation accomplishes anchoring. Apollo Sunguard specifies foundation and anchoring specifications for each structure. Others can provide foundation engineering in coordination with Apollo Sunguard when required by special architectural situations.

Imbedment Options
Direct imbedment requires a column to be imbedded in a concrete footing in bare soil.

Sleeve imbedment is a mounting option that is only available for BreezeBrella units.

Surface Mount Options
Units can be surface mounted on new footings poured to specifications. Footing requirements vary according to structure size.

Units can also be surface mounted on a 4" (minimum) existing concrete slab. Slab requirements vary according to structure size. Each column must be 1 foot from any edge.
